NetComposites to Again Host Emerging-Technology Open Forums at Composites Engineering 2013

NetComposites will again be hosting more than five hours of free technical content from expert speakers at the Composites Engineering Show, on 12-13 November at the NEC, Birmingham, UK.

The company will be covering many of the newest and most exciting developments which are redefining engineering landscapes. The forums, which will take place in Open Forum Area 3, will cover the following.

Tuesday 12th November

10:00-11:00 – Thermoplastics;
14:00-15:00 – Biocomposites; and
15:00-16:00 – Nanocomposites.

Wednesday 13th November

10:00-11:00 – Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) of composites; and
14:00-15:00 – Composites Sustainability and Recycling.

Joe Carruthers, Managing Director at NetComposites, commented, “What I like about the forums at the Advanced Engineering event is that they are very accessible, which encourages attendance from across the board. This is a young event at which we aim to present fresh content and expert speakers on current and topical matters.”

The Network Group for Composites in Construction, which is housed at NetComposites, will also present a session looking at the latest updates in the use of composites for construction applications in Open Forum 3, on Wednesday 13th November at 13:00 – 14:00.

NetComposites will again be a driving force at this year’s show, organising a new training event ‘An Introduction to Composites and their Processing’as well as returning with their bespoke “Ask the Expert” service.
