Innovators and industry pioneers will gather to discuss the latest applications of graphene nanotubes at the Nanoaugmented Materials Industry Summit (NAUM) 2018 in Shanghai, China, on 31 October. Visitors will also be able to see an on-site demonstration of the production of nanoaugmented products with real industrial equipment.
The NAUM Summit is focused on developing a new generation of nanoaugmented materials and end-products, whose previously unobtainable properties have changed the performance of most known materials, driving a paradigm shift in diverse industries.
According to organiser OCSiAl, hundreds of executives, researchers, analysts and journalists from all over the world will gather in Shanghai on 31 October. This year is the first time that the event has been open to the public. During the industrial portion of the Summit, participants are also welcome to visit a specially constructed pavilion that will contain demonstrations of the real industrial manufacturing production chain for nanoaugmented products with graphene nanotubes.
Composites and coatings industry speakers will be among more than 30 speakers discussing the potential of graphene nanotubes for a variety of industries. Fraunhofer IPA will present a large number of ongoing projects in the automotive industry fuelled by high-strength graphene nanotubes. CRH – one of the world’s largest cement producers – will discuss how nanomaterials can tackle challenges in construction. Korean Next Generation Materials will present its recent progress in creating a nanotube-aluminium composite. Shanghai BYK Additives and Japanese Nagase ChemteX will share their insights on the high durability of transparent conductive coatings with graphene nanotubes.
Alongside these speakers from large businesses, analysts will report on the competitive landscape of carbon nanomaterials and potential markets for graphene nanotube applications.
