NASA Luncheon Speaker Featured at SAMPE 2002

Mr. Dennis Smith, Program Manager for NASA’s Space Launch Initiative from the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center, will be the Special Luncheon Speaker at SAMPE 2002.

The SAMPE 2002 event, the premier SAMPE Symposium and Exhibition in materials and processes engineering technology, will be held at the Long Beach Convention Center, Long Beach, CA May 12-16, 2002.

“The Space Launch Initiative: A Focus on Safety, Reliability and Cost” will be the topic covered by Mr. Smith at the SAMPE Luncheon on Tuesday, May 14 th . His address will focus on the needed advancements to achieve dramatic improvements in future, near-term launch systems.
