Michelman says it will introduce new fibre sizings that comply with the Commission Regulation (EU) No. 10/2011 repealing Directive 2002/72/EC at the JEC Europe show.

According to Michelman the new solutions are ideal for sizing fibre that will be used in composites destined for applications including coffee machines, food processors and other appliances and kitchen items where food contact compliance is required.

Michelman explains the products being featured at the show are water-based polyurethanes and polypropylene dispersions that are APE and HAP-free, and exhibit good hydrolytic resistance and thermal stability. Visitors will see how the company’s focus on developing film former solutions with end-use applications and regulatory compliance in mind is benefiting its customers.

Michelman will be exhibiting in hall 7.3, stand M3.
