To meet the unique requirements of composite structures in modern boat and yacht building, MGS Kunstharzprodukte presented a series of new products to the public at this years JEC composites show in Paris.

Besides laminating and infusion resins especially optimized for boat building, MGS now offers a full portfolio of tooling and foaming resins, fillers and adhesives. Of particular interest are the newly developed tooling resins, allowing even very large molds to be produced by resin infusion – reliably and economically.

MGS Epoxy adhesive resins for structural bonding are supplied as ready-to-use systems and can be used for joints with gaps from Millimeters up to several Centimeters.

For 25 years, Germanys MGS Kunstharzprodukte GmbH is a leading supplier of high quality thermoset systems. Epoxy resin products of MGS gained outstanding reputation through excellent performance, tailored systems and customer focused service throughout Europe in the wind turbine, boat building and leisure aircraft industries.

Since the integration of MGS into Bakelite AG in 2001, synergy effects are being used intensively both in marketing and product development. Currently a number of Bakelite aerospace products are being adapted for marine applications.
