Matrasur Composites has taken their new concept of multi-functional robot for the spray-up of gelcoats, release agents, barrier coats, resins and fibreglass to market.

According to Matrasur the new robot is able to precisely reproduce human movements, and it is instantaneously programmed by reproducing the operator’s movements.

Matrasur say that the robot has been designed to:

? Double production without extra personnel.
? Obtain a controlled production flow.
? Reduce extraction surface volumes and VOC emissions.
? Prevent personnel from being exposed to styrene emissions during spray-up operations.
