Markos, the Polish composite manufacturer, has decided to set up a new CNC Department, including the purchase of a new CNC machine, build of a CNC machining workshop (ca. 500sqm) and employment of CAM engineers.

The new department and new CNC machine has been put in place to allow Markos to offer increased services for manufacture of prototypes, models, moulds and trimming. The decision was dictated by the continuous improvement and optimisation process in MARKOS, market trends and by customers who require short delivery time, the highest quality and more often to keep the security classification of the whole project.

Due to the delivery time, the CNC machine is expected to be in service in August 2015. It is being produced by CMS Company and is model MX5 100/42 PX5; numerically controlled machining centre with 5 interpolated axes, designed and built to offer maximum accuracy, quality and flexibility.
