MARKOS Builds, Launches and Delivers High Speed Boats

Polish composite manufacturer, MARKOS, has built, launched and delivered two high speed boats (RIB) ordered by New Madera RIBs.

According to MARKOS, the composite boats are designed to work as offshore crew carriers. The boat’s main technical data is described as follows: LOA 11.50 m, beam 3.45 m, height 3.40 m, and speed 35 knots.

MARKOS’ main scope of production is wind turbine nacelles, hub covers, RIBs, lifeboats, rescue boats, tenders, leisure boats, technical boats and steel elements according to EN 1090. MARKOS explains that boats (including RIBs) and other composite products can be produced according to customer documentation and requirements or the whole project can be done by MARKOS, starting with concept development, 3D CAD model, CNC machining and the vacuum infusion or hand lay up production.
