Advanced Technical Products, Inc., announced that its Marion Composites division has been awarded a $4.5 million follow-on contract by Stewart & Stevenson Tactical Vehicle Systems, LP (TVSLP) of Sealy, TX. According to Program Manager Roger Bowman, Marion Composites will supply Light Medium Tactical Vehicle (LMTV) shop vans for the 2.5 ton Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles (FMTV) during the year four production phase of TVSLP’s contract with the U.S. Army. The LMTV shop van is part of DoD modernization efforts under the umbrella of the FMTV program. The shop vans are to be delivered over the next 14 months. The award represents a continuing relationship that began in 1994 between Stewart & Stevenson and Marion Composites on the FMTV Program. Marion Composites produces a wide variety of aerospace composite structures, shelters, and relocatable hospitals, and is the world’s leading manufacturer and designer of radomes for high-performance jet aircraft. Advanced Technical Products, Inc.’s operating divisions include Marion Composites, Lincoln Composites, Intellitec and Lunn Industries.
