Magnum Venus Plastech will now provide all goods and services previously provided by MVP’s UK division from the MVP Technology Center, operated by Magnum Venus Plastech, in Kent, Washington, US.

In 2007, GSSC, trading as Magnum Venus Plastech, purchased Closed Mould equipment manufacturer Plastech T.T. in the UK.  Following the purchase, this wholly owned subsidiary became Magnum Venus Plastech Limited (MVP Ltd) functioning as the Closed Mould Division.

MVP state that during the course of the recent recession, the company began to make changes to its infrastructure, moving and consolidating operations in the US, to ensure the company would remain the leader in providing innovative technologies to the composites industry, and the next stage will now take effect.

Due to Magnum Venus Plastech’s desire to have research & development, manufacturing and technical service functions in one location, MVP Ltd. has made the very hard decision to cease business operations of the Closed Mould Division in the UK.  While this decision was not an easy one, it will ensure product and service continuity across all MVP product lines.

Magnum Venus Plastech say it will continue to offer expert technical service, and the  Comprehensive Closed Mould Training Course that was scheduled to be held in the UK on 24 – 26 September 2013, will now take place at the MVP Technology Center in Kent, Washington, US.
