LORD is one of the participants of the 12th SAE Brazil Symposium on New Materials and Applications in Mobility, an event that will take place on 4-5 June 2019, at the Institute for Technological Research (IPT), in São Paulo, Brazil.
In the segment of the symposium dedicated to analyse the junction techniques, Gabriel Matos, Technical Sales Assistant of LORD, will present a lecture entitled ‘Structural adhesives: a tool for weight reduction – cases of success’.
“The structural adhesives are easily adaptable to the production processes of the automakers, meeting requirements such as agility in application and curing under ambient temperature. They also help reduce vehicle weight, evenly distribute tensions, and enhance the aesthetic aspects of bonded parts,” said Matos.
In parallel to the 12th SAE Brazil Symposium, the Day of Creativity will be held on 4 June 2019, at the Centre for Technology in Composites (CETECOM). Maintained by IPT, together with the Latin American Composite Materials Association (ALMACO), CETECOM is the main space in Latin America dedicated to presentations on composites.
“The Day of Creativity will feature hands-on sessions in which there will be demonstrations of fabrication and bonding of composite parts.”
