Long Fibre Reinforced Thermoplastic Composites Continuous to Drive Automotive Innovation Forward

The Long Fibre Reinforced Thermoplastic (LFRT) Composite Market in Europe is growing 10-20 percent per year, according to the European Alliance for Thermoplastic Composites (EATC).

EATC are holding a seminar in Munich to discuss LFRT, an industry which has experienced growth, largely driven by the automotive industry.

Virtually all OEMs continue to industrialize a broad range of LFRT based applications throughout their platforms at a high rate. To provide an in-depth view of the key elements of this successful growth, the European Alliance for Thermoplastics Composites (EATC) is holding its forth annual seminar around this hot topic.

The EATC members are leading companies in the field of LFRT based applications and range from, system suppliers, moulders to semi-finished and raw material producers, as well as specialized Institutes and Universities.

This year’s seminar in Munich (home of BMW) will focus on the state-of-the-art and future perspectives of, front-end modules, instrument panel carriers, door modules, under-floor modules, tailgates and seating. Several industry leaders will share their view on how LFRT successfully address key OEM requirements and challenges like:
