LM Glasfibre CEO Resigns

LM Glasfibre’s CEO, Anders D.Christensen, has stepped down as chief executive officer with immediate effect.

LM Glassfibre, with headquarters in Denmark and one of the world’s leading manufacturer of composite blades for wind turbines, have appointed Bob Mackenzie as chief executive officer on an interim basis and has joined the executive board of management.

Bob Mackenzie formerly worked in a number of senior management roles at Hanson plc, Imperial Tobacco and NCP and is currently chairman of PHS in the UK.

“”Anders has played a significant role in bringing LM Glasfiber to its current position as a technology and market leader in wind turbine rotor blades. His vision and focused management made LM Glasfiber a global company. We thank Anders for his leadership over the past six years,”” said Mark Florman on behalf of the board.

“”LM Glasfiber is a great company and I wish all the people of LM every success in the future,”” said Christensen The board will begin the search for a new CEO immediately. The company does not expect to make any additional changes to the executive board of management.
