Reichhold, CCP, AOC, Scott Bader and Interplastic have all made resin price increases.
Reichhold are to increase prices of 120 € (Euro) per metric ton on all of its products sold to the composites industry in the EMEA region (Europe / Middle East / Africa) effective for orders shipped on or after September 1, 2004. This adjustment is in addition to the previously announced increases for the EMEA region in May and July.
Reichhold will also increase prices by $ .10 per pound on all unsaturated polyester resins sold in the United States and Canada. It is effective for orders shipped on or after September 6, 2004. This is in addition to the increase which took effect August 5.
Cook Composites and Polymers will increase prices on all gel coat and resin product lines effective September 6, 2004. Both resins and gel coats will increase by $.10 per pound on all orders shipped on or after the effective date.
AOC will increase prices by US $0.10 per pound on all resins, gel coats, pigments and B-sides sold in the United States and Canada shipped on or after September 6, 2004. This is in addition to the increase effective August 16, 2004.
Further prices increases will also be made for Vinyl Ester prices by US $0.10 per kilo on products shipped from the plant in Thailand on or after September 6, 2004. This is in addition to the increase effective August 1, 2004.
Scott Bader are making a further increase in the prices of all products in its range of Crystic polyester resins, gelcoats and Crestomer adhesive products. Sale prices will be increased by €120/t across Europe, on all product shipments from Monday September 20th 2004. This increase is a further increase in addition to the price increases made earlier this year and to the last announced increase, which was implemented from August 16th.
Interplastic Corporation’s Thermoset Resins Division is raising the prices of all CoREZYN and Silmar brand products. Polyester, vinyl ester, and specialty resins will be increased by $0.07 per pound. All gel coats, colorants, and putties will be increased $0.09 per pound. The increases will apply to all shipments of these products on or after August 14, 2004.
