Resolution Specialty Materials, CCP and Interplastic Increase Resin Prices

Resolution Specialty Materials (RSM) are to make a price increase of $.05 per pound for all unsaturated polyester and $.10 per pound for all vinyl ester resins. The increases apply to all products shipped on or after Monday, January 3, 2005..

Effective January 3, 2005, Cook Composites and Polymers will increase pricing in three composites product areas as follows:
unsaturated polyester resin $0.06 per pound
gel coat products $0.06 per pound
vinyl ester resins $0.10 per pound

Interplastic Corporation’s Thermoset Resins Division is raising the prices of CoREZYN and Silmar brand products. Vinyl ester resins will be increased $0.10 per pound and polyester, specialty resins, gel coats, colorants, and putties will be increased by $0.06 per pound. The increase will apply to shipments on or after January 1, 2005. This increase is in addition to the previously announced increase of November 13, 2004.
