LANXESS is raising the prices of its Durethan A polyamide (PA) 66 compounds in Europe, the Middle East and Africa by €0.60/kg with immediate effect.

The company states that extremely limited availability of raw materials in the PA 66 value chain has led to further severe price increases for PA 66 base resin. The company’s High Performance Materials business unit offers support in exploring opportunities to replace PA 66 applications by PA 6 or PBT grades.
