Following lengthy negotiations, L-3 Link UK and UAE based Spatial Composite Solutions have signed a Long Term Agreement for the supply of Full Flight Pilot Simulator sub modules for L-3 Link’s Reality Seven Simulator manufacturing project.
The contract award follows a recent audit by L-3 Link of Spatial’s manufacturing facility at Ras al Khaimah in the UAE and protracted negotiations to agree on all aspects of the new supply contract.
According to Spatial, the contract award is a very significant step for both parties. It gives L-3 Link the opportunity to tap into the manufacturing capabilities of a competent UAE based company who are strategically well placed to serve the growing markets in the Middle East and the Pacific Rim, while it also enhances Spatial’s reputation within the aviation industry where it already holds a significant share of the global market for cabin crew training devices.
The 5 year agreement was signed by Nick Bendall, L-3 Link’s Operations Director and Joseph McKeever Spatial’s CEO, and will result in Spatial supporting L-3 Link’s commitment to provide training devices that deliver the lowest life cycle cost with the highest degrees of reliability.
