Johns Manville’s (JM) Slovakian plant has received ISO 14001 certification for established environmental principles and processes.

The certification is granted to companies that have demonstrated excellent manufacturing practices in regard to sustainability measures and best environmental practices.

“The employees at the Trnava plant in Slovakia were instrumental in JM’s ability to achieve this certification,” said Brian Sapp, Global Fibres Business Director for JM Engineered Products.

According to JM, the plant in Trnava, Slovakia, which opened in 1967, has demonstrated operational excellence through the years. Employees there are proud of the ISO 14001 certification and are committed to continuous improvement.

“This accreditation highlights JM’s commitment to quality and best industry practices for our customers,” Sapp said.
