The 2005 JEC Show attracted over 25 thousand visitors at last weeks international composites show in Paris.

“The 2005 presentation of the JEC Composites Show experienced a spectacular 12% increase in the number of visitors. This year there were 25,600 visitors, compared to 22,500 in 2004,” pointed out JEC Group General Manager Frédérique Mutel.

“A surface area of 35,500 m2 accommodated 900 exhibitor companies, and one out of two visitors was a user and came from abroad. We wanted to draw all segments that work with composite materials to the JEC Composites Show. The JEC Composites Show offers a comprehensive view of these materials, which are changing our world. A “Tour of the World” of composite applications is fascinating! We’re pleased to observe the unique energy that comes out of the Show. The exhibitors, as much as the visitors, find new development lines in raw materials, processes and potential applications. What is more, we note some new and exciting changes that are brewing with the so-called ‘smart’ composites and fibres.”

Boosted by its partnerships the world over, the JEC Group brought the world’s composite offering together with considerably more space this year: 35,500 m2, compared to 29,000 in 2004.

Further demographic information on this JEC show will be made available in the next few weeks.
