JEC and EUCIA to Host CEO Conference

JEC and EUCIA will host their first annual CEO conference on June 18-19 at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Geneva – Growth strategies during turbulent times: lessons and challenges for leaders.

The objective is to help leaders assess appropriate strategies in these changing times. “This conference is unique in the composite world. The aim is to help decision makers take time beyond assumed boundaries of the composite industry and help them make their strategic choices, grasp opportunities, and manage risks”, explains Frédérique Mutel, President and CEO, JEC.

12 general sessions will feature 14 seasoned professional speakers hosting live strategic debates around core business issues:

▪ The conference chairman, Jim Scholes, from the consulting firm Strategos, will present game-changing business strategies to sustaining success in turbulent times.
▪ Together with the Economist Intelligence Unit, Ernst & Young, the conference co-chair, have interviewed over 300 senior executives around the world to see how they have been impacted by the economic crisis and what they are doing about it. They will present the results of their study.
▪ Prominent figures from leading businesses and organizations will debate key management issues:
▪ Finally, JEC will disclose its new strategic study: “Global market scenario: dynamics of the composite industry”. 2009 Release.

This event will be an opportunity for European decision makers to gain insight from global business strategists, consider new business growth and de-risk their strategy. They will brainstorm and forge new relationships in a spontaneous and engaging format with separate groups to allow in-depth discussions on specific issues.
