Israel Aircraft Industries Receives Boeing 787 Contract

Israel Aircraft Industries’ Commercial Aircraft Group Receives contract from Vought Aircraft Industries for manufacturing assemblies on Boeing’s 787 Programme.

The multi-year contract, valued at approximately $500 million from Vought Aircraft Industries to manufacture assemblies on the 787 Dreamliner passenger aircraft programme. The award runs for the production lifetime of the 787.

IAI/Commercial Aircraft Group’s Production Division will manufacture assemblies for the door surrounds and passenger and cargo floor. The Group’s Engineering Division will design the assemblies.

Mr. Moshe Keret, IAI’s President & CEO, said: “”We are honoured to have been awarded this contract by Vought. This demonstrates IAI’s credentials and we look forward to participating in the 787 programme.””
