Interplastic Introduces Low HAP Clear Gel Coat

Interplastic’s Thermoset Resins Division’s Gel Coat and Colorant Group has announced the introduction of C-127-L Low HAP clear gel coat.

Jim Luke, Business Manager reports that “C-127-L has exhibited a minimum 50% reduction in yellowing in the box.” In addition, Luke reports that when C-127-L is used with a high quality matrix system, the gel coat easily surpasses ANSI Z124.3 thermal shock test criteria.” This new clear gel coat has been gaining rapid acceptance with Cast Polymer manufacturers.

Interplastic Corporation is a specialty chemical company headquartered in St. Paul, Minnesota. Its Thermoset Resins Division is focused on the production and distribution of unsaturated polyester resins, vinyl ester resins and gel coats to the composites and cast polymer industries.
