Interplastic Corporation’s Thermoset Resins Division is raising the price of CoREZYN and Silmar brand polyester and vinyl ester resins, gel coats, colorants and putties $0.06 per pound, taking effect on all shipments on or after March 17, 2012.

According to Interplastic, costs continue to escalate on all raw materials used in the manufacture of polyester and vinyl ester resins, as well as gel coats, colorants and putties. They say that feedstock prices are extremely volatile and are expected to stay that way in the coming months. Interplastic is working with its suppliers to help minimise these costs and their impact on their customers.
