Interplastic Corporation Receives Governor’s Safety & Health Award

Interplastic’s Thermoset Resins Division’s Fort Wright, Kentucky Manufacturing Plant and Research and Development Laboratory have been awarded the Governor’s Safety & Health Award.

The award is presented in recognition of the facilities over 250,000 man-hours without a lost-time accident or illness. Mike Flannery, Health, Safety, Environment & Quality Manager stated, “The Fort Wright employees have worked 830,000 man-hours without a lost-time accident or illness and have received this award for the sixth consecutive year.” The award presentation was held during the Governor’s 24th Annual Safety and Health Conference on May 8 at the Galt House in Louisville, Kentucky.
