Huber Carbonates price increase is effective from 1st December 2015, or as current contracts allow, and prices will increase an average of 5 to 10 percent depending on product and packaging.

While Huber continues to focus on minimising the inflationary impact on its ground calcium carbonate business, cost increases in materials, packaging, freight, regulatory compliance, labour and capital investments necessitate the pricing adjustment.

Huber’s industrial calcium carbonate products are used in a variety of consumer and industrial applications, including building materials; drilling fluids; rubber; thermoset composites; thermoplastics; swimming pool aggregate; pet food; cultured marble; paints and coatings; and adhesives, caulks and sealants.
