Hexcel will showcase its latest technologies for the Industrial markets at Composites Europe 2012 in Messe Dusseldorf, Germany, this week from its stand number 8a C52.
Hexcel will be sharing its stand with Lange & Ritter, one of their German distributors. Industrial materials on display include:
A perfect surface finish is obtained from the patented weaving technology in which fibres are spread in both the warp and weft direction to provide a uniform weave and smooth appearance.
HexPly M77 and HexMC Demonstrator Parts
Hexcel will show 4 demonstrator parts made with a compression moulding process. The concept demonstrates the ability of HexPly M77 and HexMC M77, separated or commonly moulded, flowing and curing within 2 min@150°C, making complex parts with radius, thickness variation and ribs. The produced parts are net shape, compatible with Glass Vinyl Esther, offering solutions for local reinforcements.

A new development being promoted by Hexcel at Composites Europe is the combination of HexMC patented technology with Hexcel’s unique rapid curing HexPly M77 epoxy resin system.
