Hexcel and Snecma Propulsion Solide have granted a non-exclusive license to LIBA under their patents to produce machines for making sheets of multiaxial fibre by laying up unidirectional layers of material formed by spreading several spread tows of filaments, covering those machines currently marketed under the name “COPCENTRA MAX 5” and associated equipment.
According to Hexcel, the license is granted on a non-exclusive basis and covers past, present and future machines. They explain that the license also extends to LIBA’s customers with respect to the multiaxial fibre sheets produced by the machines and any parts from which they are manufactured.
