Gurit will participate in the Yacht Racing Forum 2015 in Geneva, Switzerland, on December 7-8, and will also support the 2016 edition of the event.

“High performance yachting is a key innovation and activity area for Gurit to develop and deploy new materials which can make the difference. In this context, this forum is of great interest for us,” says Rudolf Hadorn, Gurit CEO. “Geneva is a fantastic venue for the Yacht Racing Forum, located at the heart of Europe and host to a very dynamic yacht racing scene. The new organisers of the Forum are determined to organise a great event and we support this effort. The international yacht racing community needs a Forum to showcase its products, to network and debate. We look forward to our participation.”

The Yacht Racing Forum 2015 will take place at the Hotel Intercontinental. The annual conference and exhibition will deliver important ideas and concepts in three key areas that affect everyone in the yacht racing industry: the business, organisational and planning aspects of the sport; design & technology and, for the first time, the role Risk Management plays in the structure of the sport.

Gurit says, the 2015 Yacht Racing Forum will attract over 300 people in one place at one time to do business and meet future clients: yacht clubs, athletes, sponsors, event organisers, designers, technical suppliers and anyone involved or just interested in yacht racing.

Gurit adds that it is heavily involved in yacht racing worldwide, having established itself as a developer and innovator in the composites industry and positioned itself as the leading global supplier of composite materials, engineering services, tooling equipment, and select parts and systems.
