A luxury cruiser designed and fabricated by Praga Marine is being used by the Hotel Oberoi in Kochi, Kerala, India, to take tourists around the Kerala Backwaters.

The M.V. Vrinda is a 32m long twin-hull catamaran, constructed using GRP. Composites were also used for water tanks, lining of pipes and other metal parts prone to corrosion, and the plywood used for the deck is also covered with GRP. The hull meets the specifications of the Indian Register of Shipping.

The M.V. Vrinda has 8 bedrooms for guests on the bottom tier, a kitchen and dining room on the top tier and a sun deck above.
