Grafen Chemical Industries has selected Angstron Materials’ graphene material for a polymer nanocomposite application for electromagnetic shielding material.

The company is using both pristine and oxidized graphene products from Angstron to commercialise its EMI product for full-scale production.

“We selected Angstron’s graphene because of the material’s consistency and quality,” says Ibrahim Mutlay, Chief Science Officer for Grafen. “These graphene products also provide nano graphene platelets in a size range that is suitable for our project.” Tests are underway for this phase of the product’s development adds Mutlay.
