Free Sustainable Construction Materials Industry Interest Group to be Held at Danish Architecture Centre, Copenhagen

On 17th September 2014, speakers from the BioBuild, LEEMA and SUS-CON projects will present some of the latest developments in sustainable construction materials with low embodied energy.

The event, which is being held at the Danish Architecture Centre, Copenhagen, Denmark, will be hosted and presented by European projects: Biobuild, LEEMA and SUS-CON.

BioBuild is developing biocomposite materials to reduce the embodied energy in construction systems by at least 50% over current materials, with no increase in cost.

LEEMA is developing a new generation of inorganic insulation materials and masonry components with low embodied energy and without technical, health and environmental drawbacks.

SUS-CON is developing innovative light-weight, eco compatible and cost-effective all waste concrete solutions. 

The Sustainable Construction Conference will open at 13:30 and close at 17:30. Presentations will take place throughout the afternoon with roundtable discussions where the Speakers will be grateful for feedback and expertise.
