Admaterials Technologies, an Exova company, has been awarded the SINGLAS accreditation for Civil Engineering for its new laboratory in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
This latest award from SINGLAS means that Admaterials Technologies Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is now accredited to International Standard ISO/IEC 17025:2005. Exova explains that this accreditation confirms that the laboratory meets both the technical competence and management system requirementsnecessary to consistently deliver technically valid test results.
An opening ceremony of the laboratory will be held on Wednesday 15 February 2017 with more than 200 potential customers confirmed to attend.
Mr Lu Jinping, Managing Director of Admaterials Technologies, commented, “We’re now in a good position to serve our customers in Malaysia who need SINGLAS accreditation for products supplied to the construction industry in Singapore. This recognition underlines the quality of our technically demanding testing and the benefits we can bring to the engineering sector in Malaysia.”
Admaterials Technologies has four other SINGLAS accreditations for its Singapore laboratory: civil testing, chemical & biological testing, mechanical testing, and environmental testing. Admaterials Technologies is also an accredited certification body by the Singapore Accreditation Council in accordance with ISO/IEC 17065.
In February 2016, Exova Group explains that it acquired a majority stake in Admaterials Technologies. Admaterials Technologies provides testing in the construction sector, as well as chemical, environmental, and mechanical testing and certification services.
