Exel Acquires Pacific Composites

Exel Oyj has acquired all of the shares of Australia-based Pacific Composites Pty, to establish itself as one of the largest pultruders in the world.

Pacific Composites has more than 150 employees worldwide and was a fully owned subsidiary of Lemarne Corporation which is publicly listed on the Melbourne Stock Exchange. The company is the largest pultruder in Australia and, through its subsidiary Fibreforce Composites, also the largest in the UK.
