Britain tested its first composite armoured fighting vehicle earlier this month, which showed that the composite would be the armour of choice in future battlefields. Stealth could be further enhanced through the use of rubber band tracks and other innovations that are currently in development. The chief aim of the project so far was primarily to prove the viability of a composite hull although as yet there is no production application for the vehicle.
