Exel Composites has entered into a trademark license agreement with E-Sports in relation to Exel’s pole products.

Exel say the license agreement covers the use of their trademark with regards to poles for skiing, Nordic Walking and Nordic Blading and will be in effect from 1 August 2011.

E-Sports Group is the license holder for Exel floorball products. “Exel is a strong and renowned pole brand. I believe that bringing both the floorball and pole products in the same company will enhance Exel brand’s position on the sports equipment market”, Mr. Marko Kauppi, Chairman of the Board of E-Sports Group, says.

“We are pleased to have found a solution for the pole products. We will continue to focus on our core industrial activities”, Mr. Vesa Korpimies, President and CEO of Exel Composites, says.

The agreement is not expected to have a material impact on the result of the Exel Composites Group.
