Ito & Assoc, a Vancouver based distributor of building products to Japan, has placed Duxton fiberglass windows into the first Net Zero house project in Japan.
This home will be a feature project for the 2008 G8 Conference near Sapporo, Hokkaido. It is anticipated that the Canadian government will highlight the numerous Canadian technologies which will be incorporated in this cutting edge home.
Kimi Ito notes, “”We know that an energy efficient building envelope is extremely important to achieve “”net zero”” building performance. We also know that high performance windows are a critical part of the building envelope. We have followed and noted the progress of Duxton fiberglass windows and immediately selected their product for this important project.””
