DSM Composite Resins is increasing the price for its Unsaturated Polyester/ Vinyl ester resins sold in Europe, Middle East and India by 50-75 euros per ton (depending on product and resin chemistry). The price increase will take effect for all new deliveries after 15 October 2014. This new price increase is on top of the price increases announced by DSM in July and August 2014.

“An unplanned production stop of one of the key raw material suppliers to this industry has sparked another significant price increase and has impacted raw material availability in a major way, affecting materials including styrene, glycols, and DCPD. We have no choice but to raise the prices of our products as a result,” explained Fons Harbers, DSM Composite Resins EMEAI Sales Director.
