Effective from January next year, Dow Epoxy Products and Intermediates (EP&I) will be increasing its prices for regular epoxy resins throughout Asia Pacific by the equivalent of US$100-150/MT depending on the product and the country.
“”This will not restore Dow’s margins to a satisfactory level, but is a necessary first step,”” according to Graham Daley, commercial director, Dow EP&I Asia Pacific.
Europe and Middle East: Effective 1 January 2003, or as contract terms allow, Dow Epoxy Products and Intermediates (EP&I) will be increasing its prices for Epichlorohydrin and Epoxy resins. In Europe and Africa, Dow is aiming for a 100 Euro/MT increase for both Epichlorohydrin and Epoxy resins, whereas in the Middle East, Dow is aiming to increase both prices by 150 USD/MT.
