Dixie Chemical Makes Bio-based Composite Resin Available

Dixie Chemical has launched a bio-based composite resin that offers a combination of bio-based content over 55% and physical and mechanical property performance comparable to standard unsaturated polyester resins.

According to Dixie, the product is a Maleinated Acrylated Epoxidized Soybean Oil (MAESO) and meets the growing interest of composite manufacturers to use bio-based materials, without sacrificing performance.
