Dieffenbacher are building up anticipation after confirming that they aim to showcase several new processes at this year’s Composite Europe.
These include their new, energy-saving Compress Plus press generation, as well as developments in LFT-D (long-fibre thermoplast, direct process) and D-SMC (direct strand molding compound) technology, and automated SMC processing.
Dieffenbacher provide production processes for automotive components made from fibre composites, including presses for processing fibre-reinforced plastics, SMC (sheet molding compound), GMT (glass mat compound), LFT (long fibre thermoplast), combined extrusion/compression machines for the technology of LFT-D-ILC for direct processing of rovings and thermoplastics.
The company also supplies automated press systems and components for raw materials, part handling and remachining – e.g. deburring, punching, drilling, bonding etc. – and automatic assembly systems for pressing in impact nuts, clips and hole reinforcements.
