Dilutec Seeks to Expand Distribution Network

Dilutec is seeking to expand its distribution network as it currently relies on four distributors in Brazil and one in Uruguay.

According to Marcos Pannellini, Commercial Manager of Dilutec, the intention is to accredit at least another four companies by the end of 2016. “We are looking for distributors in the states of São Paulo and Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, and partners that can sell our products in South America,” he said.

In Brazil, Dilutec’s network currently consists of Assunção (Pernambuco and Paraíba), Bahia Fibra (Bahia), Mega Fibra (Rio de Janeiro) and Oticrel (Ceará) – Dimena, located in Montevideo (Uruguay), completes the list. “These are companies with outstanding presence in their respective regions, with long tradition in the composites segment and that rely on the support of great technical and commercial teams,” said Pannellini. In the Brazilian Central-West region, retail is covered by Dilutec, which has a unit located in Senador Canedo, in the metropolitan area of Goiânia.

By accrediting a new distributor, Dilutec says that it offers a complete training about the characteristics of its products, possibilities of application and the technical and commercial advantages in relation to the competition. “We consider our distributors an extension of Dilutec, and this explains why we replicate the same work we conduct internally.”

In 2015, distribution accounted for 20% of Dilutec’s revenues, a share that should increase to 35% with the opening of four more distributors. “The composites market is highly distributed and mainly consists of micro and small enterprises, so the majority only has access to raw materials through distributors.”

Founded in 1995, Dilutec manufactures gelcoat in Senador Canedo (GO) and thinner in Piracicaba (SP). The company also operates as a distributor of equipment for moulding composite materials – it is the exclusive agent of BÜFAtec Spain in Brazil.
