Dilutec are investing in special thinner products that go beyond the most popular commodity options in the market.

Dilutec explains that thinner is considered by many a commodity product, with little or no difference between the brands. It claims this is not true, saying that, in addition to the standard options, it produces special formulations, such as the 2000 G, ideal for cleaning rollers, paintbrushes and other tools contaminated with thermoset resins – polyester and epoxy, for example.

“The raw materials that make up the 2000 G ensure a perfect cleaning and, unlike conventional thinners, they do not leave residues that could compromise the use of these tools in the future,” said Sidney Bottene, Commercial Director of Dilutec.

As for the application in paints, Bottene points out that Dilutec has specific products for different types of bases, such as polyurethane, epoxy and alkyd – the most consumed by metallurgical, automotive and furniture industries, among others. “These thinners are developed with active principles that allow a more efficient spread of the paint while improving the finish of the painted substrate.”

Dilutec says that, more recently, it also started manufacturing the Diluclear Machine, a thinner for heavy cleaning and the lubrication of machines. “It can be used to clean equipment of automatic application and dispensing contaminated with paints, resins and gelcoats,” said Bottene.

In May, the month when it completes 20 years, Dilutec starts the operations of a new unit, also located in Piracicaba, Brazil. Covering an area of 12,000 m², the plant is expected to start with a capacity 200% higher than the current plant. “Although it may take a while for us to fulfill all this potential, we are very optimistic, especially regarding the new business opportunities that should emerge with clients engaged with more intensity to the foreign market.”
