Dilutec and BÜFAtec Expand Structure in Brazil

BÜFAtec Spain and its distributor, Dilutec, are expanding their infrastructure in Brazil and investing in the development of a larger inventory of spare parts.

“Brazil is experiencing a difficult scenario, but we understand it as a cycle, such as the one that recently took place in Europe. That is why, together with Dilutec, we are investing in the development of a larger inventory of spare parts and authorising the local production of low-complexity components. We also expanded the structure used for technical assistance, since the repairs are done locally. Thus, we allow a greater reliability for the Brazilian companies who choose the equipment produced by BÜFAtec,” said Rafael Recio, Director.

Optimistic about the country’s recovery, Recio does not rule out the possibility to soon expand the portfolio available to local moulders. Among the options that are more likely, he mentioned the HD/20 machine, which produces solid surface plates – a combination of resin and mineral filler used in residential and hospital applications, especially in kitchens and bathrooms.

“This equipment has been recently developed by BÜFAtec Spain. There are already more than twenty units in operation only in Spain, and the feedback we have received has been very positive, especially in terms of reliability and simplicity of the machine.” Another option that can be brought to Brazil is the epoxy resin injection machine – in this case, the main target is the wind energy market.

According to BÜFAtec, the partnership with Dilutec comprises the distribution of lamination machines, gelcoat spraying machines, dosing units, mixers and an equipment capable of operating in three types of processes: manual lamination (roll), spray-up (pistol) and injection (RTM or casting). “This one is called UNI 125, our sales leader worldwide. It is a project developed forty years ago that, due to its great success, has not undergone any changes so far,” said Recio.

Marcos Pannellini, Commercial Manager of Dilutec, regrets that the economic downturn frustrated the plans to negotiate approximately 30 machines of BÜFAtec Spain this year. “But with the recovery, we believe that composite moulders will be more selective at the time of investing, choosing reliable equipment, with the latest technology and that guarantee excellent value for money.”
