Dassault Systèmes Ranked Second in Global 100 Index of the World’s Most Sustainable Corporations

Dassault Systèmes has been ranked second by Corporate Knights in the 2016 Top 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World (Global 100) index.

The company explains that it moved up from 17th place in 2015 and is the highest ranked technology company. This is the fifth consecutive year that Dassault has been included in the index.

The Corporate Knights Global 100 index is recognised globally as the gold standard for corporate sustainability analysis. Rankings are based on the evaluation of a number of key performance

Dassault claims that many of the 2016 Global 100 companies are its customers. It says that its 3DEXPERIENCE platform helps them transform the way products are designed, produced, and supported. Its digital applications enable industry to think differently in terms of collaboration, intelligence and inventing disruptive solutions that can positively impact society.

By implementing a strategy to optimise and transform its activities aimed at reducing its environmental footprint, Dassault aims to be a net-positive company – one whose positive impact from the implementation of its solutions is greater than the negative footprint of its activities. The company recently collaborated with Harvard University on a ‘handprinting’ study to assess this.
