CSV Kompozyty, part of CSV Group, is once again exhibiting at the forthcoming Kompozyt-expo, taking place on 20th – 21st November, 2014, in Krakow, Poland.

CSV will exhibit the range of composites related products it distributes nationally across Poland for key suppliers including Scott Bader, Spheretex, SGL, Nidaplast, Krosglass and Formax.  The Kompozyt-expo, now in its fifth year, is dedicated to high-tech composites, technologies and machinery.

CSV explains that on its stand this year (A 35), will be a special focus on Scott Bader’s range of Advanced Materials, in particular Crestabond structural adhesives, Crestapol acrylic resins, and high performance fire and UV weathering resistant Crystic speciality gelcoats.  Recent successful new automotive related carbon fibre composite case study applications using Crestapol 1250LV high performance acrylic resin, and Crestabond primer-less methacrylate structural adhesives will be promoted during the show.

CSV says stand visitors will be able to find out about Crestabond M1-04, a new ‘rapid bond’ grade, with its short working time of only 3-4 minutes and an 8-10 minutes fixture time.  This new grade, launched by Scott Bader earlier this year, has proved to be of particular interest to commercial vehicle and automotive OEMs due to productivity and cost reduction benefits from replacing mechanical fastenings, combined with the toughness and reliable long-term adhesion performance of Crestabond methacrylate adhesives. Information about both the Crestomer urethane acrylate and Crestabond methacrylate 10:1 and 1:1 ratio ranges of structural adhesives offered by Scott Bader will be available at the show.
