Composites UK reports an unprecedented number of early bookings for its 2018 Industry Awards Dinner.

The event takes place on 31 October 2018 in Birmingham, UK, coinciding with the Advanced Engineering Show, an exhibition at which the association is one of the industry partners.

The Advanced Engineering Show, R-Tech Materials, MPM, GRP Solutions, Cygnet Texkimp and Aro PR and Marketing have all taken advantage of the first round of early-bird booking rates to secure their places. Axillium has become the first sponsor of the event.

“Assisted by our partnership with the Advanced Engineering Show, the Composites UK Industry Awards Dinner now sits synonymously with the exhibition,” says Claire Whysall, Communications Manager at Composites UK. “As the dinner takes place on the evening of the first day of the show we’ve seen a sharp increase in the number of exhibitors booking a table to thank their employees for their hard work on the stand or to treat long-standing customers. We’ve also seen a vast range of companies within the supply chain in attendance from SMEs to OEMs – over 75 different companies attended the 2017 event.”

The first round of early-bird booking rates ends on 31 January 2018. Currently a table of 10 for a Composites UK member company costs £750 + VAT, and £950 + VAT for non-members. Single seat bookings are also welcome at £80 + VAT for Composites UK members and £100 + VAT for non-members.

Sponsorship opportunities surrounding the event are available.

The nomination process for the Industry Awards will launch at the Composites UK Annual Conference on 18 April. Case studies on the 2017 winners – Cygnet Texkimp, FTI Group, Cape, Lentus Composites, Sigmatex, Hexion, Safran and MHI Vestas – can be found on the association’s website.
