Following elections at its recent Annual General Meeting and Conference, Composites UK has announced a new Board of Directors.
The Annual Conference which took place on 15-16 May at the National Composites Centre, Bristol, UK, had a brand new format, taking the form of an Industry Briefing Day with day two looking at new opportunities for composites in various end-user sectors. This was well received with a record number of delegates in attendance over the 2 days.
Chris Little, Chairman, comments, “We felt it was important to provide our members with an opportunity to gather as much important industry information in one event as possible – information that they can utilise within their own businesses to enable development and planning for the future. As usual the conference provided excellent networking opportunities to make those new contacts, exchange ideas and drive the industry forward.”
At the AGM members voted for who they wanted to represent them on the Board of Directors for 2013-14. Six new Directors were elected as a result to work alongside the existing Board members.
