Composites 2012 Opens Call for Presentations

  • Tuesday, 30th August 2011
  • Reading time: about 2 minutes

ACMA are asking for presentations for Composites 2012 to be submitted via the show website by September 9th.

According to ACMA, presentations offer you the chance to educate your peers, share ideas, and help shape the future of the industry as composites manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, and academic experts find solutions to problems, exchange ideas and explore innovative ways to use composites. Technical presentations present research on materials and products, cutting-edge applications, design protocol, code development, case histories and statistical analysis. They are peer-reviewed for the ACMA Technical Paper Awards and will be published as PDFs in ACMA’s online Technical Papers archive. ACMA say authors present their papers in 25-minute scheduled sessions at the show and awards are given for “”Best in Track”” to each winning paper in each track as determined by the review committee, as well as “”Best Overall Technical Paper””.

ACMA say education presentations offer how-tos, trouble-shooting, best practices, case studies and process assistance and will address issues such as composites tooling, processing fundamentals, facility design, business management, market trends, regulatory concerns, waste reduction, human resources, industry challenges, growing markets, and end-use of composites. They say these will also be presented at schedules during the show.

ACMA explain that all submissions are reviewed by committee of experts.
