Seifert and Skinner & Associates (SSA) are sponsoring the second Symposium on Composite Pressure Vessels which will be held from 4th – 6th December, 2012, at the Radisson Hotel Salt Lake City Downtown in Salt Lake City, UT, US.
According to SSA, the three day Symposium program will feature presentations by invited speakers on Design and Analysis, Development, Testing, Qualification and Certification, the Filament Winding Process, Production Methods and Equipment, Markets, Recent Advances and other topics. Applications for composite pressure vessels include storage of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), Hydrogen (H2), air and other gases, energy storage, water treatment vessels and many other applications.
Axel Seifert, Managing Associate of SSA, said, “We had such a positive response to last year’s symposium in Belgium, we decided to do another this year in the US. We have a good program of speakers from around the world that will cover a wide variety of topics related to Composite Pressure Vessels. This area of the Composites Industry is certainly one of the growth areas for the next few years.”

A table-top exhibition for suppliers of raw materials, machinery, software, engineering services and other products for composite pressure vessel technology will be held in conjunction with the Symposium.
