Composite Integration has announced the appointment of Atech Composites as its exclusive distributor in Taiwan with additional non-exclusive rights to also sell in China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysia.
Atech is the specialist composites division of yacht builder Horizon Yachts who are already using Composite Integration Ciject equipment for the large-scale infusion of yacht structures as well as manufacturing smaller VRTM components.
As part of its ongoing work to promote closed-moulding and the CI range of products, Atech says they have held the first of a regular series of Composites Workshops. Representatives from eighteen companies attended the event which was specifically based around the VRTM process and the Ciject range of equipment. Attendees were divided into small groups and had a chance to work with the Ciject Two injection machine and various VRTM tooling.
Atech will continue to hold free workshops every four months with the aim of introducing new technology to their customers whilst providing practical support and training.
